BBQ Recipes for Pork Tenderloin

Pork tenderloin is one of the leanest meats available, and according to the National Pork Producers' comparison chart, it's nearly as low in saturated fat as chicken breasts. Pork can be made more flavorful by marinating or seasoning before cooking. The main thing to remember when cooking pork tenderloins is not to overcook when roasting, since overcooking will cause the meat to dry out especially in applying BBQ Recipes for Pork Tenderloin.

BBQ Recipes for Pork Tenderloin  : STEP 1

Trim the pork tenderloin of any excess fat and silver skin. Place the lime zest, lime juice, honey, salt, and garlic powder in a small, lidded jar and shake to combine. Pour half of the marinade mixture into a 1-gallon resealable bag, add the chipotle pepper, and move around to combine. Add the pork tenderloin to the bag and seal, removing as much air as possible and place in a container to catch any leaks. Marinate in the refrigerator for 6 to 24 hours, rotating the bag halfway through the time. Place the remaining marinade in a covered container and refrigerate until ready to use.

BBQ Recipes for Pork Tenderloin  : STEP 2

Cut tenderloins in half; dredge in a mixture of flour and the Creole seasoning. Place tenderloins in slow cooker/Crock Pot. Scatter onion, pepper, and celery over the pork. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours. The last 30 minutes, add the dry gravy mix and tomatoes. Continue cooking on high for about 30 more minutes.

Serves 4 to 6.

BBQ Recipes for Pork Tenderloin  : STEP 3

Brush the grill with vegetable oil. Remove the tenderloin from the bag and place in the center of grate. Discard bag with marinade. Cover and cook for 12 to 15 minutes, turning every 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, until the tenderloin reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees F.

BBQ Recipes for Pork Tenderloin  : STEP 4

Remove the tenderloin from the grill and place on a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil folded at the edges to create a basket, and pour on the reserved marinade. Wrap tightly and rest for 10 minutes. Remove to a cutting board and slice. Garnish with cilantro and serve.

Original BBQ (Stubbs BBQ Sauce Recipe)

Stubb’s philosophy was to love people and feed people. And he did both with this sauce. Born from the original recipe and made with all-natural ingredients, Stubb’s Original Bar-B-Q sauce in Stubbs BBQ Sauce Recipe is made for sharing. So pour it on thick and enjoy it with family and friends.

Spicy (Stubbs BBQ Sauce Recipe)

From the heat of the pit to the heart of the table, Stubb made sure his Spicy Bar-B-Q sauce packed enough peppers to keep your chicken, pork or beef sizzling, long after it leaves the flame. This original recipe is seasoned with habañero peppers and wood smoke to complement the flavor of the meat. You’ll likely notice some compliments coming your way too.

Mild (Stubbs BBQ Sauce Recipe)

Stubb loved feeding people good barbecue. And he made this sauce - a milder version of the original – because he knew some folks prefer their meat a little more mellow. Made with only natural ingredients, Stubb’s Mild is great for family gatherings or lazy afternoon cookouts.

Hickory Bourbon (Stubbs BBQ Sauce Recipe)

When Stubb’s friends talked him into selling his famous sauces, he used "recycled" whiskey bottles from a honkytonk in Austin. This sauce combines the natural barbeque flavor of hickory smoke with the rich, mellow taste of Kentucky bourbon. It may not be in a whiskey bottle, but it’s still the same way Stubb would’ve done it.

Honey Pecan (Stubbs BBQ Sauce Recipe)

Two simple ingredients that Stubb poured into his life and his barbeque. In that spirit he combined Honey and Pecan to make your barbeque and life a little sweeter. Perfect with chicken or pork and especially that holiday turkey, this is as close as you can get to Love and Happiness in a bottle.

Smokey Mesquite (Stubbs BBQ Sauce Recipe)

After serving in the Korean War, Stubb ventured home to Lubbock,Texas with a serious hankering to make barbecue the right way. Being from West Texas, it’s only natural that this sauce would include the bold flavor of mesquite smoke. To give an air — and an aroma — of authenticity to any barbecue, use this smokey sweet mix! That's many types of Stubb's sauces to make your own Stubbs BBQ Sauce Recipe.

.                      1 tablespoon brown sugar

.                      1 tablespoon cayenne pepper

.                      1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce (e.g. Tabasco™), or to taste

Directions

Combine the white vinegar, cider vinegar, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper in a jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 days before using so that the flavors will blend. Shake occasionally, and store for up to 2 months in the refrigerator.

Mustard-Based Carolina Style BBQ Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups prepared yellow mustard (French's)

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed

  • 1/2 cup tomato paste

  • 5 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (can adjust to desired heat level)

  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

GET COMPLETE BBQ RECIPE E-BOOK!

Directions

Firstly, you have to combine all ingredients in a saucepan & whisk over medium heat. Once the sauce is simmering, whisk until the sugar dissolves completely. This should take 5 minutes or less. Do not overcook! (sauce requires less time simmering if sugar substitue is used). Remove from heat and cool before using. You need to store sauce in a sterilized GLASS jar in the refrigerator between uses. (I sterilize a suitable empty BBQ sauce bottle by capping with 1/2 cup of cider vinegar inside it, swirling it by shaking several times over a few days, & then draining well when ready to fill with BBQ sauce.). Optional: in place of the light brown sugar, use 1/2 cup of sugar substitute + 1T molasses.  The sugar substitute version (which I now keep on hand) is diabetic friendly & easier to adapt to sugar substitute than most tomato based sauces I have attempted to modify & encountered consistency problems. You can modify our mustard-based Carolina Style BBQ Sauce Recipe depending what best for you.
